    Idiap Create Challenge

    The Idiap Create Challenge is an annual hackathon organised by the Idiap Research Institute (Martigny, VS) and The Ark. Dedicated to the creative and cultural industries (performing arts, film, press, publishing, fashion, music, architecture and heritage), it brings together around 20 candidates in teams of at most three people for nine days of prototype development, mentoring and pitching. The 2026 edition runs from 20 to 28 August, with an Innovation Award of up to CHF 10,000.
