Idiap Research Institute
Idiap Research Institute is a Swiss institute for fundamental research in artificial intelligence, machine learning and signal processing, founded in 1991 in Martigny. Its work is organised around four programmes: Human-AI Teaming, Sustainable & Resilient Societies, AI for Life and AI for Everyone. Over the past five years, the institute counts 686 scientific publications, more than CHF 29 million in funded projects, 45 doctorates and 122 pieces of software released in open access. It is supported by the City of Martigny, the canton of Valais and the Confederation.
