    The Swiss AI Center is a HES-SO competence centre bringing together the AI expertise of five engineering schools in western Switzerland, notably in Fribourg and Martigny. Its mission is to accelerate AI adoption by Swiss SMEs (590,000 SMEs representing 60% of the working population) through tools for data preparation, rapid prototyping, bias detection and model retraining. The centre draws on more than 80 researchers active in AI.
