    Methodology

Scope: the organisations of the AI Index of French-speaking Switzerland whose AI training offering is documented on their own website. Data: Google Maps rating and number of reviews, collected on 14 August 2026 (next update quarterly). Sorting: the score combines the rating and the number of reviews. The more reviews a rating rests on, the more it weighs: 5.0 from 40 reviews counts for more than 5.0 from 12 reviews. For the curious, the exact formula: (v×R + 10×C)/(v+10), where v is the number of reviews, R the rating of the organisation and C the average rating of the segment. Entry threshold: 10 reviews minimum; below that, the organisation appears under “not enough data”, without a rank. A Google review measures publicly expressed satisfaction, not the quality of the work: cross-check it with client references and a direct conversation.

Only organisations with at least 10 Google reviews enter the ranking. Sorting uses a Bayesian score: (v × R + m × C) / (v + m), where v is the number of reviews, R the raw rating, C the mean of the ranked organisations and m a prior of 10 reviews. The rating shown stays the raw one.

    Conflict of interest

Transparency: ratings and review counts come from each organisation's public Google listing and can be verified in one click. Maijin publishes this ranking and appears in it, but assigns no rating, including its own: the sort is automatic and the formula is published above. Outilia has far more reviews than Maijin: if review volume is your criterion, click the Reviews column and the table re-sorts.
